Lawrence,
were you able to get your rudder and wheel working within the last 6 years?!?!?! I have some questions for you if so. I would appreciate your input. thanks
I have lost steering in 1 direction only. I have a feeling it is a steering cable connecting the pedestal wheel to the tie rod at the aft connected to the rudder however I have not been able to find any information on this design nor parts that this fix may require. Can anyone out there help?
my boat being a Mark V and having and external rudder design, the steering mechanism is outboard , quit different than earlier generations
the cable/rod exits the transom and is then attached to the rudder via a simple tie rod end to bracket on the rudder. This is not hydraulic.
