I posted this question a week ago. I guess there isn't anyone out here who has come across this issue or at least no one willing to interject.  There is over 600 subscribers and not one reply. I have scoured the internet and have not found anyone posting a repair like this. I guess I will have to make a video of the repair. I have the interior of the boat masked off and any day I will start the grinding to get into the inner area of the keel and rebuild the bilge. I'll keep you posted on the repair.

Cheers

I have a 27' C&C and I noticed that the keel has a wobble but it seems to come from the hull. I did find that the bilge was holding some antifreeze at the bottom so I dried it up and it kept coming in still. I was able to poke my finger forward and found mush filled with antifreeze. I then drilled a few holes outside the keel at the front and did get some drainage.

I really don't want to take the ballast off the keel. I am thinking I will need to grind the sole of the boat and remove any delaminated fiberglass and then do a build up inside. I think I will need to get that punky mush out somehow also. I can only imagine the area between the hull and the ballast is soaked. The seam between the two looks very good and no leakage there.

Any suggestions?

Thank you
Paul
