Newly painted

"The first coat looked terrible. I was so discouraged because I wanted it to look really nice.

"The second coat – wow, did it ever look good. I was so happy I wanted to leave it like that with no engine because it looked so good. The local hardware store owner used to have a Tanzer 22 and recommended Zinsser Bullseye 123, a water-based paint that dried fast and had good adhesion. I intend to use it next spring 2009 to paint the cockpit locker area and anchor locker."
