Hey is you email kenpole@rodgers.com ?

It keeps coming back undeliverable

#3 Re: General discussion » Dodger » 2013-10-11 07:11:47

hey ken

do you have any pic of your dodger from the coxpit that you can share. I was also wondering the height of the dodger from the coxpit floor?
If you have any pic are there any of the 2nd winches and the side of the dodger? What i am looking for is how it flares out or in compared to winches, my guest is that it flares out to give room for the winch handle.

Hello all
Does anyone know if the dodger offered by genco marine for a c&c 27 mark 111 will interfere with operating the secondary winches on the roof top and will the mainsail sheet  interfere with the side of dodger on a run
Thanks
Peter

thanks for the info

its a relief to know that the mast can be rotated without taking it down.

hello

I just had my mast re stepped over the weekend on a 1976 markIII. On close inspection I noticed that it was rotated on the mast plate. it is noticeable from head on. I was wondering if it is acceptable or should the rigger have been more careful and is it an easy fix for him. I would appreciate some input

thanks david you answered the question in your last sentence.I am missing the tapped screw above the goose neck. That why the owner before me had a line attached to the eye below goose neck to hold it down. I will have to fab a piece to go above the gooseneck. thanks again for taking the time to get me a picture.\\

I did not mention that its a 1976 mark III. No roller fuller on the boom. I plan on installing a Cunningham. I think i will sucure the goose neck to a line so it can not raise too far, and will counter the pull from the main halyard. does anyone have a picture of the goose neck configuation??

thanks david I think your right. Is there any need to sucure a line to that to prevent the goose neck from rising too far or is that what my boom vang is for.I only say this because it seems that my goose neck fitting in the mast is abutting the plastic cover that prevents the mainsul slugs from coming out of the mast..

thanks for the advice. Did visit boat and you were right bilge full of water. At The chain plates someone had chalked over the screws?? some spidering at the stanchions.all the windows will need replacing gaskets look shot. from what at saw at the deck to hull connection bolts did not see signs leaking. the head had speck of water below the y connection. My gut says its wet  but i think from leaking glass and hatch. Of note the broker says guy wants it sold by this sunday.I think if that going to happen I think some could get this boat for about 6800.00. I think i will sit on the sidelines and if it does not go make an offer and get a survey..
