friend of mine has  Max-Prop Easy 3 blade from his C&C 34 which he no longer requires (he has switched boats)

was considering a switch from my existing 2 blade feathering prop given I plan to do less racing and more cruising

any recommendations or input are  welcome

Am planning to replace gear shifter cable for Atomic 4  A good friend of mine with C&C 30 (identical engine) recommends Seastar Solutions CCX64307 cable

Does anyone know the length of the cable for CC 27 III

Kind regards

Dave

Many thanks for making this site the wonderful resource it is.

I have leaned heavily on the forum the first year I owned Lark and have always appreciated the input from others.

Seem to recall paying dues when I first joined and if there is an annual cost to retain membership, please let me know.

With regards to the path forward, please keep me updated if there is a role for a very low-tech person like myself to assist

Second season with Lark (7th if you include my tenure as crew)

CC 27 continues to amaze

Just checking how to source out spare set of throttle and gear selection levers (just in case one or both go missing )

Have pictures of existing levers if further clarification required

Kind Regards

David,  many thanks for your prompt and informative reply.  You are correct the tank is aluminum.  As per your suggestion, the previous owner of Lark will give me a hand pulling the tank and we will move forward from there based on our findings.  Once again, many thanks for your insight..kind regards  Brad and Nancy Davies

Paul

many thanks for the update on tank replacement

after reading the forum,  gas tank replacement is now a safety consideration and priority (new spinnaker can wait)

understand there are two replacement options,  polyethylene and of course aluminum

just wanted to confirm the advantages of the aluminum option as others in Vancouver have recommended polyethylene to me

any insight on your behalf and others is most welcome

many thanks
