Thanks. That's similar to what I'm doing. I'm removing the old depth sounder in the bulkhead and want to replace it with a porthole.
The only thing that is a question is the gap between the inner liner and the bulkhead. I guess I'll come up with some kind of spacer ring....
Hello all,
I would like to install an opening port on the aft bulkhead next to the companionway. I'm hesitating because of the cabin liner. How do you deal with cutting out the liner? Do you cut it over size for the inside port frame? How do you seal the gap between the liner and the bulkhead? Any help would be appreciated.
