Winter project amoung a million others.
I looked in the search but didn't see any source for teak and holly flooring.Or a synthetic version.
Thanks in advance
Dana
I have one also
It's just ok
There is no metal bracket on mine and I don't believe you're problem is below the sole. My pic shows that there is no part of the support structure, being in water. You will have to cut out the rotted part of the post, and patch in with composite, after jacking up near the top of the post, keeping an eye on the deck.
I'll have to look at my boat.
will get right back to you

In looking under the sole, the compression post does not go into the bilge. It sits on a rail that goes across the bilge.
Has a p.o. done something?
The work looks original

Capricious Mark 3
I had that on my 27, especially with the mast stepped. Turned out the base of the mast support - at the keel - was shot. I had the whole area repaired to like new and the gap is now completely gone. Looks beautiful (but $$$). The surveyor called it 'like new'.
Any idea on how they repaired it. I'm guessing ,jack up,cut the support till good material is present and fill with composite.
$200.00 plus ship

Capricious Mark 3 Hull #599
It required about 3/4 of an inch raise. Didn't need a longer shaft as have read in black arts, had a shaft saver which added and inch. <img src="emoticons/icon_smile.gif">
