I bought a "Power Pak" gizmo I bought from Canadian Tire.
It has a 17 Amp Hour battery, built-in jumper cables, a cigarette lighter socket, flash light and an 300W AC Inverter.
I keep this in my boat to run small appliances such as my dremel tool and keep it as an emergency backup battery to start my "low compression" A4.
Quite a handy little device and I think I got it for under $50 on sale.

Just an update - My new Indigo propeller substantially reduced prop walk in reverse. Reverse is no longer a challenge.

My original radio was near the companionway but it died with water leaks and splashes.
I got a new radio with a wired remote. The radio is now mounted on the port side at the cabin table and the remote is gives remote access wherever I want it. This way the radio stays dry.

I am considering a new propeller - I've heard some good things about the Indigo.
My biggest issue is with prop walk in reverse. My boat is very hard to dock in reverse.
Does anyone have anything good or bad to say about third party props? Especially on C&C 27 MK III. I am running an Atomic-4
