I HAVE A MARK V AND THE HANDLE NEED TO BE REFINISH. I HAVE REPAIRED AND SANDED IT SMOOTH. NOW WHAT SHOULD I DO. KENNY
Don't know where you are, but if you keep a tiller cover on it, just varnish as any wood. If you are in the tropics - use Bristol Finish (follow directions carefully), and still use a tiller cover for UV protection.

Everyone will grouse at me but here goes:
1) Go to Home Depot---get 2 cans of spray varnish.
2) Put a string thru the bolt hole---hang it in the back shop.
3) Everytime you walk by---spin it---and spray. After about ten coats---open the second can---and repeat.
4) Then follow Warren"s advice.
