LOA MKV

I was onboard another MKV on the weekend(so he claimed) and the owner of this cream puff who has owned it for the last 15 years insisted that the boat was 25'3" LOA whereas the website says 26'6"  What is the LOA?  I need to know exactly for wharfage purposes.

The other thing was I noticed a C&C a few slips down with an outboard rudder, but this is a bigger boat.  He claims it was a 27 footer.  Does anyone know anything about this boat. Also this rudder looked very similar to the rudder on this website with a rake.  The rudder of my friends boat looked more vertical(less rake).

Confused in Victoria

"I want action right now" double and triple clicking means double and triple postings, which then have to be deleted. Thank you. - Admin

Re: LOA MKV

I suspect the boat with the 25' 3" LOA is a C&C 25 Mk II.  That boat is listed as having a LOA of 25' 2".   Here is alink - <a href="http://sailquest.com/market/models/cc25n.htm">http://sailquest.com/market/models/cc25n.htm</a>

The C&C 27 Mk V is listed as 26' 6" LOA.  <a href="http://sailquest.com/market/models/cc27n.htm">http://sailquest.com/market/models/cc27n.htm</a>
