I have a Mk I and I might be interested if you are selling some sails.  Where are you located?

Re: Sails

My boat is a Mk 3 so my sails would fit yours. I have a Kevlar #1 sail 150% with #6 tape. The sail is in good condition but a little baggy at the luff, so could not point high enough with it.  If you use your boat mainly for cruising then this will not be a problem.

The other sail is dacron #1 again 150% with #6 tape cut for furler with UV protection.  I got rid of my roller furler so I don't need that sail either.

Finally I have a #3 dacron sail but I haven't measured it, can do that though.  If any of these sails interest you write me at moefahmy at hot mail dot com.

Re: Sails

I may be able to help you out....I have a '71 Mark 1. I gave a main and jib last year to a gentleman on this forum from NY who bought a C&C 27 without sails and was able to suit his needs getting him going. Right now, I still have too many sails that I don't use hanging in my basement and would be willing to hand some off. Where are you located and what are you looking for. I am in West Hartford, CT.

Re: Sails

SAIL FOR SALE--  Mylar radial-cut #1 Genoa for Mk 111. Window, tell-tails, speed stripe etc. etc.  #6 luff tape. Built by John Clark (Kingstom Sail Loft) from Harstic panels/design. This sail is a few years old and will not be a top-competitive sail however, a great cruising sail or it could serve in club white-sail fleet racing. Asking 1/5 of its original price --$450.00.

Re: Sails

How much are spinnakers bringing these days? I have two that I never fly since I sail single handed. They are fairly old, but the last time I took them out of the bags I could not find any obvious problems. There is no sense in them rotting my vberth. My boat is a MKII.

Re: Sails

I've got plenty.

Two mains (One I'd like to keep as a spare the other will cost a few pints of beer)

Kevlar Jenny (155%) but I want $1000 for this and suspect you're looking for else. It's worth $3000 new and realyy moves.

I have a 165% Jenny that a few hundred would take.

Re: Sails

Hi,

Still looking for sails? I have a M3 main that is OK and a furling jib (145%). Both are usable but I bought new sails for racing.
