Composting toilet, water filters

Did a quick search in the forum to see if anyone has reported installing a composting toilet on a C&C 27, but got "0" returns.

Same thing for water filtration systems.

Our '73 Mk II has the original holding tank bladder that is full and hard as a rock.  Am close to ordering a composting toilet.  The original potable water tank under the V-berth had been converted to a holding tank.

Also looking into simply using lake water that has been run through a filtering system.  A number of race boats use them, but didn't find any info in my search on the forum.

Anyone who could share their experiences?

Many thanks,

No problems using Composting Toilet in the Great Lakes?

The Canadians seem to want a hose and deck fitting for pump out.

My friend drinks the water in the GL.

Cheers
