Toe rail

Hello,
I am currently completely restoring the deck of my 1976, 27 foots because he full humidity.
I am removing the toe rail to seal it and repaint the deck.

The original C&C manufacturer used butyl tape to seal toe rail.
It completely squeeze out over the years.

In 2025, do you think Sika Flex would give a better result?

Sorry for my English, I'm French.
Merci

Re: Toe rail

Christian,

I just spoke to a knowledgeable repair facility, and they use Life seal by life  industries .  It’s a silicone urethane blend.

They still race their C&C 38.
