A newbie here. The exterior wood on my Nova Scotia C&C 27 1979 MK3 needs to be refinished. I feel comfortable with removing the old layers and sanding etc but my google search has various different products to restore the wood and protect it from UV and weather. What would be the general concensus on what products to finish it all with? Thanks in advance. Darren

While I do not have personal experience with it, it seems that most people use Sikkens Cetol Marine.

Personally, I use a water-based polyurethane wood finish designed for outdoor use.
