Blue Zulu's cover frame

Blue Zulu's winter cover is an inexpensive 33' x 25' hay tarp ($200 in 2004 from a feed supply store). Stanchions were making holes, so the 2" x 4" spine with poly rope transverse lines was augmented with 1" x 3" strapping tie-wrapped to the tops of the stanchions. The strapping provides a smooth edge for the tarp to bear upon. Blue Zulu's owner, Hugh Morrin, wishes he'd made the longitudinal spine of 2" x 6", as the snow load can be so great.
