"The boat was built in Niagara-On-The-Lake and sold to a fellow in Minnesota. While living in Oswego NY, I bought her from the second owner who kept her in the Apostle Islands on Lake Superior and I hauled her back to the lake she was built on, Lake Ontario. In 2007 we relocated to Superior, Wisconsin to be closer to our families and brought Scot-Free back to Lake Superior where she is presently berthed in Barkers Island Marina. We cruise the Apostle Islands, harbor-hop and cruise the rest of the big lake and this coming season will be at the starting line on Wednesday nights with a rookie crew. I’ve owned many boats, larger and smaller, but none sail sweeter.

"* The DYC is homeless; no clubhouse, no property. For general membership meetings and gatherings, area establishments with meeting room facilities are used. The Board of Directors and the membership is engaged in plans for finding a home. But in the meantime, on Wednesday nights racers gather for a skippers' meeting around the picnic area at the marina where most club members boats are slipped, the Snug Harbor Marina on Park Point in Duluth MN. Wednesday night races can take place either inside the harbor or out in the big lake, with the fleet passing under the Arial Lift Bridge around 6:00pm. Throughout the summer there are various weekend races as well."
