Mark III, hull no. 643
Bayfield Inlet, Great Lakes Cruising Club [Map]
Original owner and sailed since new in 1976.
Bill James, Guelph, ON
"Sesiya is moored at our cottage in Bayfield Inlet, winters in Parry Sound and is now mostly cruised single-handed in North Georgian Bay and North Channel of Lake Huron, with excursions into all the Great Lakes and Quebec City.
"The name derives from Sesiya hamba, a Zulu drinking song (think of it as an anthem) meaning we are leaving, e.g. sung when returning home to the rolling hills of Zululand after working in a hellish job in a big city." [The flags refer to all the countries Bill has sailed in.]
